Glyca
A guardian angel for Type 1

Terms of Service

Version v2026-05-06.2 · Last updated: 6 May 2026

Draft v0 — not legal advice; pending counsel review. These terms govern your use of Glyca during the closed beta. They will be formally reviewed by a Belgian lawyer before any public launch.

1. What Glyca is & who runs it

Glyca is a free, beta-stage tool that reads your CGM data and turns it into a daily & weekly summary delivered through Telegram. It is operated by Satish Singh (Antwerp, Belgium). Contact for any service or legal matter: satixbv@outlook.com.

Glyca is a discussion document, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. The outputs are intended to support a conversation with your healthcare provider — they are not a substitute for that conversation.

2. What Glyca is NOT

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older, or have your parent/guardian's consent. You must be the rightful account holder of the CGM credentials you provide.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Liability

Glyca is provided as-is, free of charge, in beta status. To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, the operator disclaims all warranties (fitness for purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted availability) and shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing satixbv@outlook.com (self-service deletion is coming in Phase 1). We may suspend or end the service at any time during the beta with reasonable notice.

7. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the courts of Brussels (NL or FR jurisdiction at your option, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules under Belgian Code of Economic Law Book VI).

8. Changes

We may update these terms; if we do, we'll bump the version stamp and announce the change in-product before it takes effect.
